Case Studies (by sector)

Our selection of case studies will provide a taster of the projects and sectors we work with. This is not an exhaustive list. Some of the work we have produced and indeed are producing is for internal use only. Unfortunately this work is not for public consumption. We take client confidentially very seriously.

Local Government

Birmingham City Council

Pixelplanet are contracted to produce a corporate style guide and Accessible HTML templates for a roll out of public facing websites due out late 2008 early 2009. The project is currently in development therefore we can't say too much about it but it's an exiting time for all residents served by Europes largest City Council.

Financial Services

Alliance & Leicester PLC

We kicked off a project for the Highstreet Bank by providing concepts and User Interface designs for a new mortgage origination website. Analysing in detail user interaction and web based form filling, we we're able to produce designs that would be intuitive to the user, stylish and quick to load.

Certification

N.I.C.E.I.C. Group (National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting)

We were approached by the Group to redesign and implement a content managed website. This was to replace the static 1000 page website. The challenge was to incorporate a new brand and divide the site across several business units.

Pixelplanet were also key interface architects for the building regulation notification website project. (This is the site electricians log their domestic work. This website was in response to the Governments Part-P legislation
